Maia Coplit is a 16-year-old sophomore at Greenwich High School in Greenwich, CT. She has had food allergies her whole life and is now working to improve the lives of others with similar allergies. She is a co-founder of Sercacase, a cell phone case that holds an Auvi-Q epinephrine auto-injector. Maia also collaborated with her SercaCase team, Connecticut state representatives, and FARE to successfully pass legislation in the state to improve food allergy awareness and safety in restaurants. Maia enjoys drawing, singing, and Jiu Jitsu. She is a member of Greenwich A Cappella's elite group and has performed at multiple venues, including at the National A Cappella Convention in Orlando, FL.
